Anything but ordinary.

Saab cars are often associated with innovation, individuality, and a touch of quirkiness. My goal is to capture this essence in my work. The brand may no longer exist, but its spirit endures

First of all, what defines a Saab?

” Saab cars are more than just a brand, they represent a way of life. “

Not all car brands create a subculture, but Saab was never just another car brand. Even years after the company ceased production, Saab drivers still stand out.

Saab owners don’t follow the crowd. While others chose BMWs and Audis, they made a conscious choice to drive something different. Not for the sake of standing out, but because they saw something others missed: a car that was both intelligent and distinctive. The design of a Saab, from the wraparound windshield to the aircraft-inspired dashboard, spoke to those who value function over short-lived trends.

There’s a running joke that if you see a Saab parked outside a university, a professor probably owns it. And there’s truth to that stereotype. Saab drivers have historically been engineers, architects, writers, and academics, people who approach life with curiosity and independent thought. They don’t choose their car based on status but on substance. A Saab is not a luxury status symbol, it is a quiet recognition of innovation and logic.

For many, driving a Saab isn’t just about the car itself but about the era it represents. And I can completely relate to this fact myself. Even today, online forums and local Saab clubs keep the spirit alive, connecting drivers across the world who refuse to let Saab be forgotten.

With this in mind, my aim is to showcase these characteristics to all the people whose heart will skip a beat if they see such a car on the road.
